Agnieszka Nowakowska is a sociologist and historian at the Faculty of Sociology, University of Warsaw, holding a PhD in Sociology. Her research focuses on memory studies, post imperial heritage, and history education, with fieldwork in Poland and across Europe. She has contributed to major projects, including H2020: DisTerrMem and National Science Centre projects on museums and post imperial memory. Currently works as a team member on ERC funded AbortionFigurations Agnieszka has published on textbook narratives, museum memory, and teaching practices. In addition to research, she manages grants at the Faculty of Sociology.
