Valda Budreckaitė is a PhD candidate at Vilnius University, Institute of International Relations and Political Science. In her dissertation, she explores the place of post-socialist transformation in the memories of citizens of Lithuania. In 2021-2022, she participated in the project “Postcommunist Transformation as Dismantling of the Soviet Modernity Project” (Research Council of Lithuania, Vilnius University). She is also interested in diaspora studies and has a Master’s degree in International Relations and Diplomacy. In the MEPOST project, she will analyse Lithuanian interviews by reconstructing emotional transformation narratives and comparing them with Polish narratives.
